  • This Vintage Sindh Table Cloth/wall Hanging/bedspread was made in Sindh(Pakistan) in the 19th century. The ground fabric is Handwoven Cotton cloth, which the artist embroidered with colorful cotton thread. She decorated the cloth with a variety of large and small plant forms using a changing pallet of reds and pinks. At first the change in color looks like it could have been due to abrash, or the way dye batches fade at varying rates, but on close inspection it appears that the embroidery either chose to vary the color or was unable to find enough exactly matching thread. The end result is an eye-catching modulation in color in a classic.

One of the amazing And Beautiful hand work by widow women of Thar desert, this piece is hand embroidered with Sindhi Hand Embroidery work/ KACHHA PAKKA KAAM, which makes this wall hanging/bedspread more antique and beautiful, very hard work to complete each piece threads stitch with hands with cotton threads double stitching all completed wall hanging.
