Green Checkered Vintage Kabiri Kantha Table Cloth or Bag

This is a gorgeous old Banjara dowry bag, Circa 1960's roughly.
This type of bag would have been made by a young bride for her husband as part of her dowry. It would have been used to carry betel nuts, money and other essential male sundries!

The Kantha work on this one is beautiful, very fine and delicate. Its old but in very nice shape for its age with a few little points of wear.
